As a result, there has been a wave of price increases among manufacturers in the industry. The final pricing of ZEIT PRO did not choose to follow the trend. The road bike is generally composed of three core parts: frame, wheelset and kit. The performance of the three parts directly affects the performance of the whole bike. All three configurations of ZEIT PRO use a full set of SHIMANO kits, with two options: 105 R7020 and UT R8020. The full set of SHIMANO hydraulic kits gives the ZEIT PRO a silky-smooth shifting feel, making it a good choice for you to double your mood when riding the wind. The performance positioning of 105 and ULTEGRA is sufficient to cope with all usage scenarios.
I believe that everyone is familiar with these two kits without much introduction. Let's skip to the disc brakes. Disc brakes are a very important factor for car owners today. ZEIT PRO uses a fully internal disc brake solution. The reasonable routing design makes the brake feel light and responsive, allowing you to enjoy the pleasure of being one with the car and hitting the target wherever you point your finger. The disc uses a floating disc with a specification of 160 in the front and 140 in the rear. This combination has a larger braking force arm, and the thermal attenuation of the floating disc can effectively prevent the brake from locking prematurely.
The reduction of entry-level aluminum wheels is another major problem for road bikes. The quality of the wheels is crucial and directly affects the weight and riding experience of the whole bike. It is an indisputable fact that the weight of a road bike with disc brakes is less than 8 kg (8 kg+ for the whole bike), and it is also common to have a weight of less than 9 kg (9 kg+ for the whole bike) with entry-level aluminum wheels. Two of the three ZEIT PRO models use their own RA30 aluminum wheels, and the weight advantage of the whole bike is 8.1 kg to 8.4 kg, which is self-evident.
We do not treat the QUICK RA30 DISC aluminum wheels as an entry-level transitional product. On the contrary, the RA30 wheelset has a good weight and performance, and the entire pair of wheelset is only 1790g.
RA30 adopts 1:1 3X straight-pull structure, with European flat spokes and 30mm high double-layer aluminum alloy rims, taking into account the lateral rigidity and aerodynamic benefits of disc brakes. The large flange hub with 2 bearings in the front and 4 bearings in the rear is another reinforcement of lateral rigidity and convenient for later maintenance. Even if you don't plan to upgrade the wheelset, the RA30 wheelset can accompany you to travel around the world.
The carbon wheel version uses QUICK RC40 DISC, which is our new disc brake wheelset launched this year. The weight of the whole pair of wheels is only 1480g. Considering the range of user usage in multiple scenarios, we chose a more comprehensive 40mm frame height rim. The 25C wide fat rim supports the later upgrade of tubeless tires.
We will introduce more information about QUICK RC40 DISC in a new article. The ZEIT PRO with integrated handlebar and fully internal wiring, paired with a full set of 105 oil disc and carbon fiber wheels, also meets the needs of most riders.
